A house for our teapot

Our teapot needed a home.

In progress - teapot waiting;)
Done. Front handsewn.
Alternative front... Macine sewn.
Made after instructions in this book by Suzuko Koseki.

It has made me think of this sweet nursery rhyme:

I'm a little teapot
Short and stouts
Here is my handle
Here is my spout
When I get all steamed up
I just shout
Tip me over and pour me out

I need to study my books more closely as I have this one and your tea cosy is very nice. A great way to use up some scraps too.

Hi Una, so nice to see you posting after a long time! I love seeing your beautiful works. This tea cosy is so sweet! I like the soft colors you use in the patchwork and the binding adds a really cute pop of color. Beautiful hand quilting too!

den er vældig fin, men det er din tekande også. næsten for fin til at gemme den i en teacosy :-)
